I was driving through the mountains of central Massachusetts yesterday, talking to a friend as I drove, and noticing that our spring looks a lot like fall because we have had lots of rain, and little sun. I think that's what is making the leaves much more colorful for this time of year than any year I can remember. It's not too often that you see trees in a canvass of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens when they are first budding.
Fall? What's that? Oh, yes, now I remember. One time in October I was driving in the hills of West Virginia and I met Fall. Nice chap. Wish he'd come down here for a visit!
Winter? I LOVE Winter! The snow, the chill in the air, the fluffy pink scarves, the hot chocolate, the ice skating, the big down jackets that stick you from time to time ;)...
AND, Winter plays a role in one of my very favorite movie quotes: "The winter must be cold for those with no warm memories. We've already missed the spring."

Yes, I think I can.
Absolutely beautiful.
Did you take the shot yourself?
